John graduated from Western Michigan University and made his way back to Baton Rouge to work with his father and grandfather.
He has served on the board for Catholic High School in Baton Rouge, the Haworth College of Business Advisory Council, the Greater Baton Rouge Area Chamber and the board of Junior Achievement of Greater Baton Rouge and Acadian.
He believes that everyday is a chance to be better than yesterday.
Nicholas has been owner-operator since 2009. He started at McDonald's in 2006 after playing baseball at the University of Southern Mississippi for four years.
His favorite part about working in each of their communities is knowing they have a great purpose being engaged employers that serve their communities fast high quality and consistent food.
Nicholas has been recognized as a Baton Rouge 40 under 40 and served on the board of Women's Hospital in Baton Rouge.
Michael joined Valluzzo Companies in 2011 following time spent in Corporate Finance after graduating from the University of Notre Dame.
Michael is passionate about leading teams of people and running great operations. He takes the model of mentorship to heart whether in the restaurant kitchen, at home with his four children, or out in the community where he believes “we are only as good as our people, and we’ve got a tremendous responsibility to treat them right on both sides of the counter.”
He sits on the Ronald McDonald House of South Louisiana Board and loves Big Buddy of Baton Rouge.
Valluzzo Companies was established in 2010 by John, Nicholas and Michael Valluzzo. Since then, the company has expanded to manage 78 restaurants in Louisiana, Mississippi and Alabama.
The three owner-operators received the prestigious Ronald award from McDonald's in 2017. Each year owner/operators are selected for this award by operating exceptional, high performing restaurants and becoming pillars of their community.
The family believes in investing in the staff, customers and community.
Many communities will see a brand new McDonald's with digital menu boards and an entirely different quick serve dining experience. Additionally, staff at Valluzzo Companies have access to Archways to Opportunity, a program that offers tuition assistance or high school diplomas.
We continue to celebrate our faith, family and business in the cities in which we operate-and that will continue for generations to come.
